Apparently, this little blog has been doing way better than I ever imagined, 2k unique views…wink wink*
I still remember sitting in my office one day, randomly buying a domain for WordPress and writing a small story. That was it. No purpose. No expectations. No plan. Just me, a domain, and apparently a little too much time to think.
Then I started writing more. Small stories about myself, sometimes as a character, sometimes just as me. And somewhere along the way, I realised that maybe that’s what I want this space to be, a place where I can put my thoughts, stories, little moments and random phases of life.
I just want to write them in a way that makes me want to come back someday and look at them and think, wow, look how far I’ve come.
So, here’s a little introduction.
Hello. I’m Sakshi Sinha.
How old? Well, old enough that my batchmates have started getting married, some have kids, some are living abroad… and here I am still trying to figure out what to eat for dinner.
Honestly, being an adult is mostly just answering the question “Aaj khane mein kya banayein?” for the rest of your life.
If you know me, you probably know I am very impatient. Sometimes I’m constantly on the run, and sometimes I’m just sitting and staring at the walls like they might have some answers.
I’m an introvert when I’m around people who intimidate me, and suddenly the most talkative person in the room when I’m around people I’m comfortable with.
By profession, I’m a product designer. Sometimes I regret choosing this profession. Sometimes I love it. Most days, I do both.
Apart from work, I love painting, reading, riding and overthinking.
I’m also trying to become fitter and better – emphasis on trying.***
I love travelling too. Although, Instagram is slowly getting on my nerves.
How does everyone look so sorted?
People are getting their dream jobs.
People are travelling abroad.
People are doing amazing things with their careers.
People seem to have their lives completely figured out.
I hate you Instagram algorithm 😦
Sometimes I feel like I’m just average. But then there’s this chull in me. This constant need to do something, try something, go somewhere, make something, mess it up, and then try again.
And maybe that’s enough.
I want to live my life fully. I want to welcome experiences with open arms, accept the defeats when they come, and collect enough stories to look back at someday and laugh at the person I used to be.
Because I don’t think I need to have everything figured out right now.
I just need to keep going.
And maybe, years from now, I’ll come back to this blog, read all these little stories and wonder, “Who let me write all this nonsense?”
Until then, I’ll keep writing.
Because this is my story.
Aur apni kahani ki hero toh main hoon.
